POS - ACA 1557 Nondiscrimination Poster

Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act is requiring most medical practices to post a Notice of Nondiscrimination effective Oct. 17. In a nutshell, practices need to make sure that patients have access to the translation services they need during their interactions with medical practices.

The Notice must include taglines for the 15 most spoken languages in your state. It must be posted prominently in the office and on your practice website.

Practices are also being asked to include some important information about nondiscrimination in their significant marketing and patient communication pieces as opportunities present themselves.

Learn more about Section 1557 by visiting the Department of Health & Human Services website.

So where can you get your Notice? POS is partnering with practices to print the required Notice of Nondiscrimination. Our 11x17 template is printed on repositionable paper – ideal for any surface (walls, counters, windows, etc.). Get started today with your order and your local POS Regional Territory Manager will follow up with you.
