POS Earns National Design Awards

Forgive us this one time, but we would like to brag a bit in this blog. POS was recognized recently for our outstanding creative design work in healthcare. The Graphic Design USA 2017 Health and Wellness Design Awards includes work from four of our designers. Check out the work they did for a few of the practices we work with in this month's GD USA publication (under Professional Office Services).

Congratulations to our designers Darren Haley, Tina Coy, Ben Sigmund and Tammy Laughlin.

Why Does good design matter?

Good design helps you communicate. Do you have something complicated you need to explain or show to a patient? Maybe it’s a procedure, or a diagnosis, or a treatment. A printed piece with strong visuals can help you tell that story. Good design brings the content and imagery together to tell a story.

Design isn’t all about how something looks, it’s about how it works. So functionality plays a big part in a good design. Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple, once said, “Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.”

Good design motivates people to take action. A strong call to action on a printed piece, designed well, can help you influence patient behavior.Good design reinforces your brand, your values, your goals and your relationships with your patients.

And our designers certainly do all of this and do it very well.
