The PricewaterhouseCoopers Health Research Institute released a health industry issues report highlighting trends that will impact healthcare consumers in 2016.

According to PwC, millions of consumers will have their first video consults; be prescribed their first health apps and use their smartphones as diagnostic tools for the first time. Americans will continue to face higher deductibles and will have to manage medical expenses with new tools and services.
