Rome Wasn't Built in a Day

Rome wasn’t built in a day. And neither was your practice brand. You can’t expect to fix everything in your practice overnight. Our research shows that 90% of practices want to improve their patient communications; they just don’t know how to do it. So you’ve already taken the first important step. You want to improve your practice operations and patient communications. Check one for you.

This week we are going to talk print and how you can improve your patient communications.

It’s hard to improve something if you don’t know what you are currently doing. So the first step is to take an inventory of what you give to patients. Yes, that’s right, every piece of printed communication a patient receives from your office.

At this point, you are probably asking yourself how in the world am I going to add one more thing into my day? You know the saying, “When eating an elephant, take one bite at a time.”

When was the last time you looked, I mean really looked, at what you give your patients? This week find a little (or a big) space to compile your printed patient communications. Even if it’s only 5 or 10 minutes a day -- it’s a start. Just keep adding to it. That’s it, just try to identify as many communications as you can.

Check back next week for what to do with that inventory.
